MIA SANDMARK

Owner & principal designer Mia Sandmark has been designing spaces in the U.S., Sweden, Mexico and beyond for more than a decade. Influenced by her Swedish childhood, Mia blends a rich Scandinavian design aesthetic with contemporary accents that feel fresh, warm, and inviting. A graduate of The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, Mia spent the early part of her career in the world of all things design: apparel, costume and set design, film production, event designing, photography and more. But it was her return to Stockholm, where she met her husband Gustaf, that reinvigorated Mia’s passion for Scandinavian design and its keen focus on simple beauty and function. She has since returned to her hometown of Sonoma, CA where she and her husband and their two daughters now live. She works closely with her wonderful team to realize a well-edited and designed space you’ll love.
